Focus: Leadership styles, motivation, organizational citizenship behavior

In this case, I analyzed a shift in work culture and productivity using the Theory of Reasoned Action and Planned Behavior. I evaluated how a participative leadership style boosted motivation and team performance, while a later change in leadership caused disengagement and reduced morale. The analysis emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence, fairness, and autonomy in driving high performance.

Focus: Nepotism, fairness, team morale, motivational theories

This case challenged me to evaluate workplace favoritism and its negative impact on team cohesion and performance. I applied Maslow’s Hierarchy, Expectancy Theory, and Equity Theory to assess both Roger’s lack of motivation and the crew’s frustration. I also proposed solutions from a leadership perspective to restore fairness, rebuild morale, and coach difficult employees.
